Godham Krushi (Goshala)
Godham Krushi (Goshala) was established in 2012 by 6 volunteers both from corporate and non-corporate backgrounds. We operate from a village name Adhale Budruk in Maval Taluka which is 18 kms from Hinjewadi, Pune. At Godham Krushi (Goshala), our main moto and vision is to provide shelter and protection to cows and bulls who are not generating any economic value to the owner and are considered as liabilities and who are left alone to meet striving uncertain and untimely death. At present, we maintain over 40 abandoned cows, bulls, oxen and orphaned calves. We are a Registered Trust (under Bombay Public Trust). We also offer guidance and support to like-minded individuals as well as organizations who wish to honor and implement the Vedic Standards of Cow Protection. Our Mission: Godham Krushi (Goshala) is an effort to revive, regain and re-establish one of Bharat's ancient Vedic culture which is Cow Protection. In Vedic traditions, cow is revered as the Divine Mother "Gomata" and one which bestows health, knowledge and prosperity. In Sanskrit, the word "Go" also means "Light". With her blessings, Godham Krushi (Goshala) is working to revive this Bharat's ancient Vedic "Go Sanskriti" and introduce time tested Vedic paradigms in all aspects of modern life be it nutrition, health, education, agriculture and business.
